Select a Session How does this conference work? The conference will commence each day with morning key-note addresses. After lunch, the sessions will be broken into 3 options, giving you the choice to ‘Select a session’ that most suits your needs and requirements. Develop your own programme and schedule for each day. Unfortunately we cannot reserve seats for the sessions, they will be run on a first come first serve basis.
Interactivity and connectivity The Forum offers ‘hot spot’ availability throughout the venue allowing you to keep in touch with your email, and the office.
DIY Look out for DIY – DO It Yourself informal learning sessions. So bring your laptop along! We have selected various sessions where you get a chance to actually ‘test drive’ the tool or software yourself.
Registration and early morning refreshments registration starts early each morning at 07:30, so miss the traffic and come and join us for a light breakfast.

Book and pay before 20 February 2008 and on the first day of the conference, you will receive a free copy of an e-learning course called How to use communication skills to handle and resolve conflict in the workplace. This course is aligned to SAQA Unit Standard No 9533 and covers the following topics:

  • The different conflict situations in the workplace;
  • Reasons for conflict in the workplace;
  • The behaviour of different people in conflict situations;
  • Your own feelings when in a conflict situation;
  • The verbal and non-verbal communication skills required to resolve conflict.

You will have the right to duplicate and sell (or give away) licensed copies of the course to your learners for a year for free. You will be supplied with a master copy of the courseware, and encrypted key fileswill be issued to you for each of your learners as and when required up to 28 February 2009."
