As learning professionals, we still make too many decisions based on intuition, feelings, beliefs, trends, and gadgets. If we continue to work this way, we’re at risk leaving behind a legacy of wasted time, money, and effort, and many people who didn’t learn what they needed to do to do their jobs better and stay relevant.
Especially given the current situation, we need to prove our value and make sure that we have a real impact on people and organisations. One way of achieving this, is to use the scientific evidence from the learning sciences available to us. It’s time for an evidence-informed approach to learning design so that organisations can stay afloat, learners can keep their jobs, and we can keep ours. You might be surprised to learn what we actually know from the learning sciences! In this highly interactive morning seminar, we’ll discuss some of the strong evidence we have. Together, we determine how you can apply the evidence to support effective, efficient, and enjoyable virtual learning experiences.
