Corporate Innovation Conference 2019

INFORMATION

Two day Conference
28-29 August 2019
The Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel, Sandton | Johannesburg

The management guru, Gary Hamel once remarked that if an organisation changes at a rate slower than the external environment, it’ll soon become extinct. In a volatile business environment, with disruption the “order of the day”, the only way to survive and thrive is through innovation, not only in products and services but also business models.

This two-day conference on Corporate Innovation will feature case studies from organisations that have successfully innovated, have culture of innovation and who have improved the success rates of innovative practices. The conference will also highlight how innovation can be accelerated, how to develop an innovation DNA and how to establish and benefit from an innovation ecosystem. This event is ideal for executives, from all disciplines, who are responsible for guiding their organisation into a profitable future.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND:

  • Find out how to create and sustain a culture of innovation
  • How Do You Innovate and Improve Existing Products and Services?

SETA grants and accreditation requirements
Many of our delegates enquire about the accreditation of our events. There is a misconception that organisations qualify for SETA grants only for accredited programmes. This is not correct. The payment of SETA grants is regulated by the Government Gazette, no. 9867, Vol. 570, 3 December 2012, no. 35940. These Regulations clearly state that the SETAs “must allocate a mandatory grant to a levy paying employer” that has submitted a WSP and ATR by the regulated date, has provided all the information required in the regulated template, and is up to date with skills levy payments. Furthermore, the template in the Regulations (Section C: Skills Development) allows employers to include ALL planned training in the report; not only accredited programmes.
