Executive Coaching Conference

Coaching for the resilient performance driven organisation

INFORMATION

Pre-Conference Workshop 22 August 2018
One-day Conference 23 August 2018
Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel, Sandton | Johannesburg

The role of the Executive coach has never been more important than it is for businesses now!

Globally recognised for its effectiveness, executive coaching has become one of the most heavily invested tools in senior leadership development among the world’s most outstanding organisations. More and more companies are driving the coaching culture to increase retention, performance and leadership development.

While leaders fail to hit the mark for many reasons, one factor is often overlooked. Many do not get the onboarding support they need to assimilate to the new role such as working with a coach.

The value of both the internal and external coach is now widely recognised as executives are able to utilise the coaching relationship to examine areas for personal and professional development in a safe forum.

The KR executive coaching conference provides a unique opportunity for coaches to learn more about the different coaching methodologies, predicted trends in the coaching industry, practices and theoretical perspectives on the ways to coach various populations within an organisation.

Thought leaders in this space, will delve deeper into the current trends in the coaching field - new coaching initiatives, methods and research will be unpacked.

Whether you are an internal or external coach, this cutting-edge conference programme provides thorough and highly thought-provoking presentations focusing on tools and practical application of real-life executive coaching insights and strategies so that you come away fully equipped to operate more effectively.

PRE CONFERENCE WORKSHOP

Coaching leadership teams: Getting organisational culture aligned

Every year organisations spend enormous amounts of money on development and team-interventions with little time and support for on-the-job application. This workshop offers a holistic way of addressing the shortfalls and offers a proven, practical alternative to responsible and ethical team-performance. As leaders, we need to be highly responsive to complex and volatile environments. Alignment in Organisations, business-units and teams of strategy and culture offers us and our stakeholders the best chance to flourish and to build sustainable futures for ourselves and generations to come. The workshop leader offers practical insights, underpinned by solid theory and case-study-work to lift the art and skill of coaching in general and team coaching, in particular, to new heights.

This workshop will offer you:

  1. A concrete way of how to create such alignment, with firm yet flexible phases.
  2. A phased approach to implementing coaching to facilitate alignment between Strategy, Culture and Values
  3. Potential practical applications for the translation of organizational values into leadership practice

SETA grants and accreditation requirements
Many of our delegates enquire about the accreditation of our events. There is a misconception that organisations qualify for SETA grants only for accredited programmes. This is not correct. The payment of SETA grants is regulated by the Government Gazette, no. 9867, Vol. 570, 3 December 2012, no. 35940. These Regulations clearly state that the SETAs “must allocate a mandatory grant to a levy paying employer” that has submitted a WSP and ATR by the regulated date, has provided all the information required in the regulated template, and is up to date with skills levy payments. Furthermore, the template in the Regulations (Section C: Skills Development) allows employers to include ALL planned training in the report; not only accredited programmes.
